Let’s rethink what can really represent a city, instead of the souvenirs nowadays, why not use the methodologies of visualizing urban images and the process of element extraction to create a set of new souvenirs that can be cherished by both the tourists and the locals?

This creative research used Umberto Eco’s three levels of sign translation: congruences, projections, and graphs (or structural transformation) to extract and transition into a series of surface patterns.
