Ni hao ()?

Created under the theme "Deconstruction and Reconstruction," this project examines how the common greeting "Nǐ hǎo" shifts across emotional spectrums depending on subtle, unspoken contexts, especially in text-based communication where tone of voice is absent.

Translating conversational tension into expressive visuals, the core challenge was merging digital 3D space with raw, physical intervention. By combining dimensional rendering with hands-on material destruction, such as shattering real glass to physically collage onto the print, the series captures the fragile balance and psychological rupture behind everyday polite facades.
